Achievements

  • I have received honors of Excellence in Teaching Award, and Outstanding Senior Teacher Award, on my class of “Cetacean Conservation Biology”.

  • I have supervised more than 35 graduate students’ research projects and theses at National Taiwan University.

  • I have published over 100 journal papers, 200 symposium posters/abstracts, and 90 project reports or books.

  • I have founded Taiwan Cetacean Society in October 1998, and served as the 1st, 2nd, and 5th president

  • I have organized a virtual “Taiwan Cetacean Stranding Network”, which works on responses to cetacean stranding, with collaboration among over 20 agencies/organizations in November 1996.

  • I have received the honor of National Taiwan University Social Service Award.
