- July 17 – Huang Jong-tsun and Chou Houg-hsien are appointed president and vice president of the Examination Yuan while Chen Chin-seng, Wu Hsin-hsing, Yang Ya-hwei, Wang Hsiu-hung, Chou Lien-siang, Yao Lee-hter, Iwan Nawi, Ho Yi-cheng, Chen Tsi-yang are named commissioners. Their term of office is from September 1, 2020 to August 31, 2024.
- August 26 – Liu Chien-sin is appointed secretary-general of the Examination Yuan; Chou Chih-hung, minister of Civil Service; and Hao Pei-chih, minister of the Civil Service Protection and Training Commission. This order became effective on September 1, 2020.
