- July - Wu Jin-lin is appointed vice president of the Examination Yuan while Chiu Tsong-juh, Tsai Bih-hwang, Tsai Shih-yuan, Wu Tai-cheng, Bian Yu-yuan, Lee Grace Whei-may, Lee Ya-jung, Hu Oliver Yoa-pu, Chen Jeaw-mei, Ho Chi-peng, Jan Chung-yuang, Huang Jun-ying, Kao Ming-chien, Lee Sheuan, Lin Ya-feng, Ou Yu-chan, Tsai Liang-wen, Pu Chung-chen, Huang Fu-yuan are named commissioners. The term of office is from September 1, 2008 to August 31, 2014.
- August - Lin Shui-ji is appointed Secretary-General of the Examination Yuan; Yung Chaur-shin, Minister of Examination; Chang Che-shen, Minister of Civil Service; and Chang Ming-jue, Chairperson of the Civil Service Protection and Training Commission. This order shall be effective as of September 1, 2008.
- September - Wu Jin-lin is named Acting President of the Examination Yuan from September 1, 2008.
- November - Kuan Chung is appointed President of the Examination Yuan. The term of office is up to August 31, 2014.

- December - 2009 National Personnel Administration Conference is held.
2010
- January - The International Conference on Civil Service Government in Times of Change is held.
- March - The National Academy of Civil Service is established. Hwang David Yea-baang is appointed Secretary-General of the Examination Yuan.
- July - Minister of Examination Yung Chaur-shin resigned. Lai Feng-wei is appointed Minsister of Examination.
- October - Chang Ming-jue and Kao Yuang-kuang are named commissioners. The term of office is up to August 31, 2014. Tsai Bih-hwang is appointed chairperson of the Civil Service Protection and Training Commission.
2012
- February - Minister of Examination Lai Feng-wei resigned.
- March - Tung Pao-cheng is appointed Minsister of Examination.
- April - Wu Jin-lin is appointed vice president of the Examination Yuan while Chao Li-yun and Hwang Giin-tarng are named commissioners. The term of office is up to August 31, 2014.
- June - Examination Yuan and Executive Yuan jointly promoted the June 23 each year for Public Service Day.
