The Legislative Yuan has passed Organization Standard Law of the Central Government Agency on June 23, 2004, which requires that there can be at most 13 departments, 4 committees, and 5 independent agencies similar to grade 2 in the Executive Yuan. Cooperating with the total amount control requirement and Paragraph 1, Article 35 of the Standard Law, the Organization Law amendment draft is drawn up again, and it is planned to be submitted to the Legislative Yuan for review. At the time of planning to make amendment, other than the presently recommended principles, there are also many principles, thresholds, and important conditions for administration and public management being raised, for the reference of making policies.
