擔任中山大學總務長期間,建立良好制度,打破多年來圍標的弊端,節省數億公帑。

中山大學逸仙樓館工程因蕭瑞徵案件致使工程停頓,數年來包商與學校之間僵持不下,歷經兩任總務長都無法解決爭端,被公認是一項無解的糾葛,本人接任總務長之後,歷經多方面協調,才完成該工程。
