May - Lin chia-cheng is appointed minister of Examination;Wu Rong-ming,
minister of Civil Service; and Chou Hung-hsien, chairman of the Civil
Service Protection and Training Commission.
June - Wu Rong-ming is appointed vice president of the Examination Yuan. Chu Wu-hsien is appointed minister of Civil Service.
July - Wu Yin-Chang is named secretary-general of the Examination Yuan. This order shall be effective as of Auguest 1,2004.
